Their styles spanned from serious draping in somber bordeauxs to youthful, whimsical shapes smattered with graffiti prints. Finding Salasai’s voice in these two varied focuses was hard but both seasons were marketable. Ladylike styles are the with jewel colors and lace used to hyper-feminize body skimming shapes. A-lines get top billing in at DeMartini. Neoprene gets the girlie treatment at in fun, floating skirts and peplums. Lexi also divided their segment into two collections, Astral Weeks, an reference to Van Morrison, and These Are the Days, an evening range. With the exception of a few tulle nests, the brand made a strong showing in the group.
